The Ministry of Health, represented by the Directorate General of Health Services in Muscat- Pharmaceutical Care and Medical Stores Department, marked World Pharmacy Day on September 25. 
The event, held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Qurm, was patronized by H.E. Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al Ajami, Executive President of Oman Medical Specialty Board, and attended by Dr. Thamrah Said Al Ghafri, Director General of Muscat Health, along with various officials from the ministry and health institutions in the governorate.
Pharmacist Asma Mohammed Bayt Ishaq, Muscat Health’s Director of Pharmaceutical Care and Medical Stores, delivered a speech emphasizing the crucial role of pharmacists in healthcare institutions in ensuring patient safety and operational standards in the health sector. She also highlighted the department's achievements and projects implemented in the governorate over the past period, praising the dedicated efforts of the pharmaceutical staff across various health centers in Muscat. 
The event further showcased the significant work of clinical pharmacists in the healthcare system of Muscat as well major accomplishments of the Pharmaceutical Care and Medical Stores Department.
At the end of the ceremony, the patron of the event honored several outstanding pharmacists for their exemplary contributions and encouraged continued dedication and effort in the future.
