Continuing his official visit to the Sultanate of Oman, His Excellency Dr. Mustapha Ferjani, Minister of Health of the Republic of Tunisia, visited a number of public and private healthcare institutions today (Tuesday), accompanied by his delegation.
The tour included Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Care and Research Center and Hay Al Jamaa Health Center, where the minister explored various clinics and departments. He received detailed briefings on the operational mechanisms, medical equipment, and the specific services provided by each institution.
The Tunisian minister and his delegation also visited the Central Public Health Laboratory, where they were introduced to its various departments and state-of-the-art laboratory equipment. Officials provided a comprehensive overview of the lab’s operations and its pivotal role within Oman’s healthcare system.
As part of efforts to gain insight into Oman's experience in the pharmaceutical industry, H.E. Dr. Ferjani visited the Menagene Pharmaceutical Industries and National Pharmaceutical Industries (NPI) in Rusayl. During the visit, he observed the different stages of pharmaceutical production and was given a comprehensive overview of the factories’ operational procedures by their management.
