As part of efforts to enhance international cooperation in traditional and complementary medicine and to exchange knowledge and expertise between countries, the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Health, participated recently in the Traditional, Complementary, and Alternative Medicine International Congress and the Sheikh Zayed International Awards for (TCAM), held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The award aimed to recognize outstanding innovations and research in traditional and complementary medicine, promote the integration of modern and traditional medical sciences, and shed light on innovations that blend heritage with modernity, contributing to effective and sustainable healthcare solutions.
The Omani delegation emphasized that this participation reflects Oman’s commitment to supporting traditional and complementary medicine both locally and internationally. Furthermore, the delegation highlighted the importance of the award in fostering scientific research and health innovations that honor medical heritage, while enhancing its role and value within the global healthcare system.
Through its participation in such events, Oman seeks to strengthen its international presence and support the advancement of traditional and complementary medicine in alignment with global standards.
