The Public Relations & Communication Department, represented by the Contact Center in the Ministry of Health (MOH) will organize on Thursday an awareness day titled "Towards an Aware Society" at Muscat City Center from 05 pm to 09 pm.

The one-day event, which will be held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Ali bin Talib al-Hina'I, MOH Undersecretary for Planning Affairs, is aim to familiarize the public about the various roles of the Ministry by presence of the competent teams.

The awareness day includes several activities; display the services of the Contact Center, tobacco control awareness, introducing the Investment & Financing Alternatives Department, the services provided in mental health, communicable diseases and AIDS, as well as entertainment corner for children.

It is worth mentioning that, the Contact Center started operating on October 2014. Its main tasks are health awareness, answering queries, receiving feedbacks and proposals from the community members and refer it into the specialists for follow-up.
