The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Health joined the countries on the celebration of the World Pharmacists Day, which is marked on 25 September of every year. 
On this occasion, the Directorate General of Medical Supplies held an event today (Sunday) at Grand Millennium hotel under the patronage of H.E. Suleiman Nasser Al Haji, MOH’s Undersecretary for Administrative & Financial Affairs, in the presence of Medical Supplies Director General Ibrahim Al Rashdi.  
This year’s theme is “Pharmacists: Meeting global health needs”, reflects the growing recognition of the pharmacists’ crucial roles in promoting health and ensuring safe and effective use of medication. 
At the end, the patron of event honored a group of pharmacists who have completed 30 years and more of service. This recognition was a tribute to their efforts, continuous contributions, and dedication to the sector. His Excellency also honored the employees who retired in 2023 and 2024.
